Halloween
The tweens are getting older, and thus, we were minus one (e-man) for the evening. Our eldest was content to pass out candy (scare people), while we took the little guy door to door.

All City Track Meet
So proud of our eldest child, for joining his middle school's cross country team. The requirement of a physical was nearly a deterrent for him, but once that was out of the way, he had a thoroughly enjoyable season of running. Not one complaint! I would have been crying in my shoes.


Comfort Food
Who doesn't love a good stew?? This Williams-Sonoma cookbook is one of the most often used in our house. The dish below? Phenomenal.
